What is CareVoyage?
CareVoyage is a premium medical travel concierge that helps you navigate healthcare abroad when it matters most. We connect you with vetted doctors, coordinate care, and advocate on your behalf—so you’re never left figuring out a medical situation alone while traveling.
Is CareVoyage travel insurance?
No. CareVoyage is not travel insurance. Insurance reimburses you after the fact. CareVoyage is the service you contact in real time—helping you access care, make informed decisions, and manage medical situations as they happen.
What’s included with a CareVoyage membership?
Every CareVoyage membership includes 24/7 access to our concierge team and access to pre-negotiated flat-rate visits of $350 per visit with vetted providers in covered destinations, which could otherwise end up costing thousands. We also coordinate appointments, vet providers, assist with logistics, and provide transparent pricing for any additional services.
What’s the difference between the Essential and Platinum plans?
The Essential plan provides full concierge access, care coordination, and direct-to-you medical care in CareVoyage Signature Destinations.

The Platinum plan includes everything in Essential, plus a dedicated elite concierge team, priority service globally, and fully covered global emergency medical evacuation and hospital-to-hospital transfers when clinically necessary.
What happens if I need care in a Signature Destination?
In Signature Destinations, CareVoyage can arrange direct, in-person medical care, including doctor house calls when appropriate. Visits are billed at a flat rate of $350, and we manage the entire experience—from provider selection to follow-up.
What if I’m traveling somewhere that isn’t a Signature Destination?
You still have 24/7 access to the CareVoyage team via phone or text. While we may not be able to dispatch a doctor directly, we will help you identify, vet, and access the best available local clinic or specialist for your needs. Platinum members also retain evacuation and transfer benefits if required.
Can I add family members to my CareVoyage membership?
Yes. Members can add up to four family members to their CareVoyage account. Added family members receive the same level of concierge access and support as the primary member, based on the plan selected.
What happens if I have a medical need abroad?
Contact CareVoyage immediately. We help you access appropriate care, coordinate with local providers, and guide next steps. For Platinum members, emergency medical evacuation and hospital-to-hospital transfers are fully covered when clinically necessary.
When should I contact CareVoyage?
Anytime. Members contact us before travel for guidance, during trips for medical concerns, or in urgent situations. Whether proactive or emergent, we’re here to help you make confident decisions when it matters most.
What happens if my hotel or property doesn’t allow an outside doctor on site?
We will do everything we can to work with your hotel or property to allow our doctors to visit you on-site. If we are unsuccessful and the hotel or property does not permit outside medical providers, CareVoyage will coordinate care at the nearest appropriate clinic or hospital instead. We handle transportation guidance, scheduling, and provider coordination to ensure you receive timely, high-quality care with as little disruption as possible.
